Since the practice was bought out by Northwell it's become a total gong show. Appointments are managed through a central Northwell hub, so there is a likelihood that the doctor you wish to see will not be on-site when you arrive for your appointment. If you do manage to see a physician you will be over billed for services. Your insurance will refuse to cover the inflated bill and then you'll be stuck with the overages. All of the Northwell systems, portals and phone lines are deliberately designed to frustrate you as a consumer so that you'll just give up and pay the inflated bill.

Dr Patrick Burns was my father and mothers doctor. When my dad developed a lump on his neck, he had to point it out to the doctor. Only on my fathers insistence that Dr Burns scheduled a CT scan, but without contrast. And it did not show anything. My father then went to an ENT on his own, and after so many CAT Scans, Pet Scans, MRIs and biopsy's, it ended it being Modular Thyroid cancer, and the tumor was an extension from the Thyroid. When my father informed Dr Burns on his follow up visit that the ENT recommended a Biopsy for cancer, he laughed and said 'Cancer'....... He is the worst Doctor on Long Island. Go to him if you wish to die! Same for Krysten......

Dr. Patrick Burns told a patient with an SaO2 (oxygen level on pulse ox) level of 82 to stay home after the patient was already COVID positive. The delay in taking him to the hospital was based on this highly questionable recommendation may have been the deciding factor in the patient being too far gone for a recovery. He died of COVID six days after hospital admission. The family did not enjoy explaining to hospital staff why "you waited so long" to bring him in. The current recommendation on blood-oxygen in a positive COVID case is 94. F*** this guy. If you love your family, find a new "doctor".
