After being sent home from St. Francis Hospital to die, so they can keep their rating, the fire department transported my husband to Huntington Hospital. The care by the Doctors and Nurses was fabulous. They diagnosed the cardiac problem causing all the problems, and it is now being addressed . Arlene Toscano
This is my go to hospital whenever I have a problem. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. I am currently in the Emergency Department and yes things take a long time however that is no different than any other hospital around. If you have a more urgent problem they get you in super quick. If not its a wait but they will get to you for sure. In my personal situation, I have cancer and I am immunocompromised. The care that I receive here is amazing. Even before I had cancer they would take great care of me. They have always made sure my needs were met and cared for me wonderfully. Doctors nurses techs aides and everyone is friendly helpful and smart. Now on another totally non medical note, the food is delicious. I mean it sounds really random to say about hospital food but it is really really yummy here. They do a great job. Overall, Huntington Hospital is a great place to go if you need care. Smart caring staff! Highly highly recommend it.
Awful experience Tuesday, November 12 with doctor in ER. They totally dismissed my finances nausea. Told them he's been sick for weeks and they ran no tests on him at all and discharged him. Thank God h found a doctor that gave him a breath test and found h had terrible infection. That ER doctor should be sued! Will.nevergo there again and do not recommend at all!
