I’ve honestly had such a good experience here, especially with Alesha. She’s super easy to talk to and makes sessions feel comfortable and natural. I never feel judged or rushed, and I always feel like she really listens and cares about what I’m saying. It doesn’t feel clinical or awkward, it just feels like a safe space where I can actually be real. I’m really grateful for the support I’ve gotten and for how much I’ve grown since starting therapy here.
I will tell you, I understand why people mostly leave reviews and they are usually negative. The time it takes to write these, and the effort into explaining it all usually comes from the desire to make an experience heard. This should be for exceptionalism as well. So here is my review, & I am not even a patient yet. I needed to get an appointment for medication management. I have put it off bc of how anxious i get thinking about having to deal with the usual attitudes, sometimes feeling judged and loops offices make patients go through to simply get the medications i am already currently prescribed. I struggled with anxiety my whole life, and when I finally sought treatment at Empire Psychiatry. It was so convenient because the practitioner is very responsive, and they offer a virtual telepsych. It was excellent healthcare, and the medication went well, which turned into changing to a healthier lifestyle; I’ve returned to my everyday life with no restrictions. It was all because of Empire Psychiatry; I highly recommend them!
