I’ve gotten two curly cuts at Elysian and they’ve both been great! The end result works well with my face shape and makes my curls come across lighter.

I also got a glaze and hair hydration treatment. I’m not sure if the treatment did anything but my glaze looks great and I enjoyed the scalp massage.

Updating my review for 2026: Alexis is a damn curl genius. Every single piece of advice she's ever given me about curl care has been 100% correct. My hair is better than it's ever been and I live in CA now and still fly back every 6 months to see her. I won't let anybody else touch my hair. Please train a replacement or I will not accept your retirement when the time comes 😆.

2024 review: Alexis cut my curls using a dry cut, then wash and dry and re-cut. My hair is wavy/curly, there's at least 3 different textures in it and I feel like nobody ever LISTENS when I tell them the front is not the same as the back. First off, this review is way over due…I have been going to Lauren N. @ Elysian in Huntington for just under 2 years. Before I found this salon I literally had jumped around trying to find a place and stylist that got my hair. I am extremely picky and would travel all the way to NYC and pay upwards of $1000 for my hair appointments (and still be disappointed) but since my very first appointment I have been so happy with the results at this hair spa. And, unlike many salons, this one is consistent! Lauren always listens to what I want and does her very best to achieve it, usually exceeding my expectations.
