I hired Pure Perfection after the original company I hired ghosted me. They were very responsive and worked hard and fast to get it done for us. The patio and firepit they built for us couldn’t be better. We absolutely love it and recommend Jim and the team at Pure Perfection. Looking forward to working with them again in the spring to get my landscaping finished.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND! He took off with my money. He also buys his reviews and followers. Seems like the entire country of Vietnam follows his page. ? Here's the story: We initially got quotes for the painting but then decided we would paint it ourselves as the prices were high. Andrew texted back after hearing I was getting other quotes asking why we didn't go with him and he really wanted to do the job so he can showcase it on his site/socials. We have 8 colors going into our painted lady victorian. I always appreciate the people who are passionate to do a project so I hired Andrew in Feb '25 to paint my house for 16.5k and I would provide the paint. He was to do the front and side for 8k in the spring/summer and 2nd half in the fall to break up payments: 4k upfront, 4k at end of 1st half, same deal for 2nd half. I accepted the quote and paid him $4k 2/7/25. I paid another $2500 5/15/25 to get over the 50% down. Start date was May 19th which he pushed due to rain and being behind which I understood. 6/3 I ask for an update and on 6/16 he asks to move me to September so he can catch up on other clients and he'll give me a $500 discount. Fine, I was in no rush as long a it was done this year. Andrew stated he had plenty of time to get it done in the fall. 7/8/25 he asks for more money as he having a terrible year. Feeling sorry for him and I stupidly sent $4500 7/16/25. Now my balance is 5k. In August, I ask him for a definite start date. He states Sept 15-30th. 8/22 he asks for more money. I tell him he will get the rest at the end of the job. He understands and appreciates the money I've sent so far. 9/23 Andrew tells me hr will miss the Sept start date and pushed it to mid October. Now I'm worried he won't finish it as it gets cold around then. He assures me it'll get done and he has plenty of time. 10/15 he comes and power washes the house. 10/16 he comes at 11a-4:45p to start painting 10/17 he comes to paint 10:30a-4p 10/21 10:38a-6:13p to paint He calls 10/21 @ 2:30p to ask for more money. I tell him I'll talk to my husband. 10/22 he asks if I spoke to my husband. I tell him we are not sending anymore till the end of the job. Andrew goes ballistic and walks off the job saying he'll return in the spring after assurances that he had plenty of time to get it done this year. He texts, "Also with that I’m not going to prioritize finishing the front because I need to make money so we’re going to probly just go work on an interior enstead of busting my balls trying to work around the rain and cold I’m not saying this to change your mind because at this point after explaining my situation and you refusing to give me anymore money while I’m currently painting your house is causing me concerns that one you don’t think I’m capable of finishing the job and or two you don’t have the money even if I do which is kinda turning me off to the whole situation I’m not under any contractual obligation to paint your house technically I could finish up this week and just walk away from the he whole thing for the amount of money you’ve given me this is a $32000 paint job I was willing to do for $16000 to just be able to do the project really at this point I’m about to just go get my trailer". 10/23 he comes and packs up his trailer and leaves. He only worked 4 days! He has had complaints of his behavior from BBB, FB and Google. We waited long enough and paid him a total of 11k out of 16k and he got less than 30% done. I've tried to resolve this issue but he continued to get nasty. When asked where the 11k was that he should've held in escrow for this job he had no answer and instead said he now wanted 25k for this job with 5k now and 4k at the end or he want coming back. I believe the 11k was spent on other things outside of this job. He says he doesn't think we have the money but our upfront payments say otherwise. He also says we scammed our roofing contractor which is not true. Just to make sure our roofer and I were good I screenshot Andrew's scam

I contacted Scott after a Queensbury, NY vendor failed to complete the install of a custom shower enclosure (installer broke the door). Two years of not showing up as scheduled and not responding to a Certified Return Receipt letter.Scott was made aware of my mess and showed up with the proper tools to measure the replacement shower enclosure (I realized the Queensbury vendor had not measured the glass correctly and had even chipped another glass piece). Scott and his son installed the glass shower enclosure and the fit is correct and the glass is plumb! Bill and Melody are fantastic and their team did a great job on a total house remodel. They were responsive, efficient, thorough, quick, and extremely reasonable. I couldn't believe the transformation which was quite significant. And as an added perk, their dog Diesel is a joy to see when you go into the showroom!

I always walk away from my appts absolutely loving the work that was done. Mel takes my crazy ideas and makes them reality for me she never disappoints. The conversations while in the appt are fantastic and fun. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Scheduling an appt is very easy and the reminders you receive are great for my busy life and memory. I would 110% recommend.

The team at Burnell's has helped out us in the past and recently did again. Our A/C unit died recently. We called Burnell's and they came out to see if they could get it working. They were able to patch it up so it ran for a few days, while they waited for a new unit to arrive for us. When the new unit came in they were right there to do the install for us during the hottest time of the summer. The installation was done with the utmost attention to detail. GREAT JOB!
