I was walking down the street after a hair appointment and saw sewing machines in the window. I’m a self-proclaimed sewing machine addict lol. I started sewing at five and had to go in and check this place out. I instantly thought, how did I, a Horseheads Village Resident , not know this was here. I was instantly surprised to see David Quinn , the former owner of Village Vacuum at the back of the store . David had sold me a vacuum at his old location and I was a faithful, loyal customer due to honest, dependable service. Let me explain why I was so surprised. The new and current owner across the street told me he retired and moved to Florida last time I went to buy vacuum bags. Well, clearly she lied to me and therefore lost all future sales and chance of me supporting her business. Honesty always pays in business, especially in a village like Horseheads. David and Jude combined efforts to continue to provide Horseheads and the surrounding area with honest, dependable service for vacuums and older sewing machines that we all came to rely upon over the years.
