I have been using Nedy’s Alterations for many years. Needy is a very talented seamstress/tailor. I trust her with expensive mother of the bride dresses to smaller alterations and they all get the same attention to detail and impeccable workmanship.

Neddy altered my wedding dress and did an amazing job. She was attentive to details I didnt even notice and was transparent with timelines on when I could expect the dress to be done. I think others get turned off by her directness but I would much rather someone be honest with me than not, especially when it comes to dress alterations. The only tip I’d share is to make an appointment well in advance especially if your trying to get one for wedding season. For context, I called her in mid March to make an appointment for early April for my June wedding and by the time I called in mid March she was already filling up. I can’t begin to understand the negative reviews here. Nedy is kind, calm, and a miracle worker. We got a dress for my daughter’s party and it needed the entire back redone, with extensive alterations… basically creating a whole new back for the dress in order for it to fit right. I was having nightmares about this dress not being able to be fixed. Nedy came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. I must say we gave ourselves over three months to have the dress altered and fixed. Nedy does take her time but it is worth it. She gets the job done and I thought it would take even longer than it did, but we have the dress at home now and it’s perfect.
