I used my Geico app to request roadside assistance for a flat tire. Lightning Roadside assistance was dispatched to change my flat. He also taught me how to change it myself for next time. Professional service and arrived within the time window specified in the Geico app.

FLAT TIRE-- CAME QUICKLY, BUT DIDN'T KNOW THAT SPARE TIRE HAS ITS OWN LUG NUTS. REPAIRMAN TRIED TO USE MY ORIGINAL 21" TIRE LUG NUTS ON SPARE TIRE AND DAMAGED THREADS ON WHEEL HUB. NOW NEEDS TO HAVE ENTIRE WHEEL HUB REPLACED.Called GEICO for roadside assistance. They estimated the time to be 1 hour and came quickly AHEAD of time, in 30 minutes instead. However, took more than 20-30 minutes for tire change.Front driver side (left) wheel hub has threads all worn out- WHEEL HUB needs to be replaced. Was damaged by roadside assistance company, Lightning Roadside, who replaced the spare tire using my flat tire's original 21"wheel lug nuts (instead of the spare tire lug nuts)...read full review

After looking at negative reviews, I was a bit tensed thinking the technician would never arrive.have requested for assistance at 6:15 AM and Geico gave me an ETA of 7:15 AM, the driver arrived by 7:30 and changed to the donut in less than 10 mins.He was friendly, he asked me how am I and I said not bad coz of flat-tire and he cracked a joke saying it’s just flat tire and not end of the world.Overall he did finish his job and left the area in no time. Thank you mate
