I really like Dr. Drangsholt, the urologist I take my special needs daughter to, but this practice’s office is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Over the last 26 years we have had A LOT of specialists so we have dealt with a lot of offices.
EVERY phone call gets routed to the answering service, where you have to leave a message in a tediously slow process. Heaven forbid you miss the return call (not returned very quickly at all, sometimes never) Messages between office staff get mangled, office people tell you inaccurate information, instead of finding out the real answer. Patient care here is regrettably not a priority. I have had my PCP tell me that a sore on my waist was no problem with just a glance, only to find that it was a large abscess when it landed me in the ER 2 days later. Billing is regularly wrong, orders aren't sent to the lab, and confirmed appointments are unknown to the staff when the patient shows up. These are all things that I have experienced personally.
