As local real estate agents, we can say that many of our clients love that Hastings has a real record shop. We're old enough to remember when the owner opened (in a much smaller space) and the local old timers predicted his instant financial ruin :).The selection here is crazy. From eclectic Jazz and Classical to Classic Rock and 70s & 80s Hardcore & Punk. Plus, there is a deep Dub section. We have Clockwork Records to thank for turning us on to U-Roy and King Tubby. And sometimes they have those cool little portable turntables for purchase(which our sons love!).It reminds me of my old downtown haunts: Bleecker Bobs, Rocks in Your Head, and the Rat Cage. #pma

My wife, son and I truly enjoy digging through vinyl collections at the few record stores in the area. We recently made a trip to Clockwork Records after reading about them online. Simply put, they have a great collection including some real rarities, a very accurate grading system and a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Pricing was completely in line with the market. We made some nice additions to our collection there. We're looking forward to returning and picking up some more albums.

Been coming here on and off over the years and they always have some gems. Hard to get the time carved out to come as much as I want to. Brought my three year old daughter tonight because I want her to dig vinyl. She ran around the store and the owner was super understanding and kind to her. Gave her a sticker and she was super happy. Great store and great customer service. Super fair prices.
