I was able to get a cut with just walking in. I knew I found the right place when they're was a line of older gentlemen in front of me. Knut fixed a bad haircut I had received with a proper fade and a straight razor finish.

Dude is super low-key, and not very chatty (but interesting when he does say something). I think he comes across as grumpy, but he's actually pretty cool, and does a solid job. He's just a bit gruff, but totally seems like the kind of guy who's going to bust a** to do a good job. I get a number two (1/4 inch) buzzcut, so I can't speak to his virtuosity as a barber, but I was happy with both cuts I've gotten from him, and appreciated that he pulled out a straight razor to trim around the edges and get the back sharp.

I had a wonderful experience at The Hamilton Barber Shop. I went to the female barber - I believe her name was Jessica - and she was super friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. Often, you go to a barber for a bald fade, and they give you the quickest fade possible and shove you out the door. I was impressed, and I will definitely return.
