A 100% recommend this business. I have brought several pairs of shoes, a high-end Louis Vuitton bag, two suitcases and have never once had a problem or an issue. You are met with a smile true craftsmanship, true customer service in acquainted, little cozy shop. It's almost Storybook. You have your friendly shoemaker knowledgeable about every single thing he touches, craftsmanship and workmanship or second to none. He even makes his own sandals which can be purchased there. Custom to your foot and made from fine leather. Great value cost is very appropriate every single item. Back when I used to manage the Dexter Shoe Outlet store at the McKinley Mall in the 90's we would take all our repair work to Tom. To this day I still send business his way. He is pleasant to talk to and so relaxed. He is a joy to do business with. Quality and reliable work.
I live in Ellicottville, N.Y., but will go out of my way just to visit Tom at the Shoemaker's Bench. He is a very personable fellow, and besides doing a great job at fixing my leather goods, he is fun to talk to. I am looking forward to visiting him today!
