Emily, the owner of The Detailed Dog offers the perfect one on one experience for my pups! It was Banjo’s first grooming experience and Emily made him feel so safe and welcomed. His tail was wagging the whole way in and out! My oldest, Biscuit had a lot of dead, bright red bushy undercoat on his back from the winter time. I am not a fan of the shaved look so Emily took extra time to throughly deshed his undercoat using a technique called hand carding! Now I can see his unique coloring again and I get to keep his long hair. They both look so handsome and smell so good! We even got two new cute toys on our way out! They couldnt wait to play with them when we got home. We drove 2 hours to see Emily because of her skills and care she puts into her work. We wanted our pups to be groomed For by the best for our wedding day!
My dog Martin is prone to anxiety seizures when going into a building (the pet store, the groomer, the vet) and he sometimes will pee and roll around and it’s very sad, after the seizures he is fine and ready to get a haircut, in the past places have refused him because of this, Emily has been such a wonderful difference in the dog grooming industry, not only was she tentative through his seizure but she made other accommodations because he didn’t want to stand on the table. She is amazing and my family and Martin are so grateful!! Thank you for making my boy feel comfortable😊
SO thrilled with Emily and her grooming of our mini golden doodle. She is kind and caring and got the teddy bear cut just right. Our nervous boy was so happy there. Grateful!
