Kevin and crew did an amazing job siding our home. It is rare you find a contractor that on a big job will make sure everything is done right, within budget and on time. They used a combination of Hardi siding and trim with Versatex facia, soffit, drip cap and sill. This required some creative solutions and Kevin worked through them all finding the most attractive and durable ways to do things. I was impressed how the crew took time each day to clean up the site leaving it tidy and ready for work the following day. Finally, Kevin is a great communicator. He listens and was open when changes needed to be made in the field. And, more importantly, he and his crew are just nice guys that always had a positive spirit and friendly demeanor. Although we only used them for siding, I would be completely comfortable using Precision Contracting for any other job that might be needed in the future. I highly recommend them!!
Hudson Valley Precision Contracting did a great job of replacing/installing 4 very large windows in our 3 season room. Kevin, the owner, was prompt and professional in responding to my questions. He worked closely with our window supplier to ensure that the windows we planned to order were a perfect fit in the existing openings. Kevin was very reliable; when he said he’d be there- he was. I also felt that his price was reasonable for the work that was done. It was a pleasure doing business with him and with his team. I would certainly use him again for other jobs and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
We had Hudson Valley Precision Contracting replace half of our roof after we had some water damage at the interior. They had already given us some helpful suggestions and a recommendation for a mason to fix the main problem quickly, then came back to replace the roof and skylights. We plan to use them to do the rest of the roof in the coming years. The work is excellent and the pricing was very fair especially given a few surprises that are inevitable when working on an older home. We had them do some other repairs and work at the interior installing lights and a ceiling fan while they were around to check a few items off the to do list. Their strength is their responsiveness and communication. They did things the way I wanted them, which some contractors might not be as flexible about. When we found an issue that was missed at the end of the project Kevin came back and fixed it free of charge. Some contractors might give the cheapest bid for a big project like a roof just to get the job, but then charge for every change along the way. Many contractors might also leave a home owner hanging once the final payment had been received. Hudson Valley Precision builds relationships with their clients for current work and for the future.
