What a great experience I had at the Hudson Valley Vein Center. The staff was friendly and put me at ease from my first telephone call to the day of my treatment. My initial consultation with Dr. Totonelly was informative and he took all the time I needed to ask questions about the procedure to treat the varicose vein and ulcer in my leg. The procedure itself was painless and gave me a great result Dr. Totonelly and the staff are the best people to deal with. I had burning pain in my legs caused by varicose veins. My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Phillip R. Totonelly, one of the finest medical doctors in the Hudson Valley, with over 30 years of experience. In my first visit to Dr. Totonelly an ultrasound was performed on both my legs which helped to identify damaged veins. I was then very well educated by Dr. Totonelly regarding the varicose vein treatment I was to receive to relieve my vascular problems. I was really happy when my Aetna insurance approved the surgery, called Endovenous Ablation. That surgery was done in the office under local anesthetic and no hospitalization was required.
