Dating from 1871, this old, but still very active cemetery is expansive and as with many, if not most, cemeteries that are a century or more in age, many monuments are neglected because family have all died off and/or moved away. The natural effects of pollution, mold, lichen and other growth on many markers are hard to see, wishing there was time to clean them all. I had sent in an email ahead of time and in just 24 hours had a reply with helpful images and descriptions to finding the family markers I’d never visited previously.
