Sachem Eye Care of Patchogue

I recently took my daughter to another place for an eye exam, and I was told that she didn’t need glasses and that her vision was good. However, as her mom, I knew something wasn’t quite right.

I decided to take her to Sachem Eye Care in patchogue and I’m so glad I did! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They took their time and did a very thorough examination of my daughter’s eyes. Sure enough, they found that she does need reading glasses, just as I suspected.

A pleasant experience from beginning to end. From calling and setting the appointment, to paying the final bill everyone was friendly and helpful. Paperwork was sent ahead of time so check in was a breeze even as a first-time visitor. There were multiple confirmation messages sent out so there was no doubt in either side that I had an appointment. The doctor was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, with amazing bedside manner. She fully explained all the tests as well as what she saw and if I should or shouldn’t worry. I just visited for my annual exam. As always the office staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor took her time to explain everything she was doing. The girl who helped me pick out new glasses was knowledgeable and offered valuable suggestions. Great experience.
