I ran there on lunch to pick up some fish for my office fish tank. There seemed to only be one employee. I asked him for help and he said he'd have to call someone. The call went out and I waited 15 minutes and asked the same employee again. He made a second overhead page for help. I waited 5 more minutes and gave up and left. Not a great experience.

Petco on Erie Blvd. in Dewitt NY has provided me with more dramatic experiences than any business I have ever reviewed. In summary: While they are superficially friendly and pleasant to work with most of the time, when things go wrong their customer service is very lacking. My initial experience with Petco was good; We bought a parrot (Green cheek conure, the one you see in one of my my profile pics) at this store The lady in charge of the small pets area at that time (Peggy) was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful; we initially spoke with her first, then went home to think about it and returned to buy the parrot. Sarah is the best groomer we have ever had! She discovered our puppy had an ear infection we didn't even know about. She is so loving and kind to our puppy. Above all, our puppy loves to go to grooming with Sarah! She gets so excited when she sees Petco!
