I went from being an athlete to just about bed ridden in a year with no answer to speak of. With my body changing so much and failing me. In september I all but died in my own driveway air lifted and a a coma for a coma for a little from whatever was changingmy body so much so quickly. thanks to my amazing Wife and family we found the stram center. at first I was reserved which was never like me until this last year. After a few weeks at the stram center I began to feel better. but not just physically, Mentally as well, and I owe it to the three amazing nurses the treated me everyday for a little over 2 months and Heather Haslun. To be around these strong women everyday and to have them make me feel like part of a family was everything, especially since I had to deal with issues other then my treatment. I began to be me again. I gained some friends and I think I made other patients treatments a little bit better just by being me again. everyone at the stram center left a mark on my and I hope I left a mark there. Okay end of my long post now I have to figure out how to make the Kelly show happen. Your one stop show. 😂😂 #missmystramgirls "We were all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

The decision to bring my partner to The Stram Center is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. They have not only taken care of him but have provided me a source of comfort during this difficult time. In October 2023, rhabdomyolysis wreaked havoc on his body causing multiple organs systems to fail and an anoxic brain injury. He wasn’t expected to live. Defying all odds, he survived. The hospital medical teams said there was no treatment and no medication for his brain injury. They had given up on him. I turned to The Stram Center for help. The Provider spent a lot of time assessing him and reviewing his situation. She answered all of my questions in a way I could understand. He began hyperbaric oxygen therapy 5 days a week for 40 sessions and 5 NAD+ infusions over a 2 weeks period. Before treatment he couldn’t socialize, only spoke when asked a question and a response was given less than half the time with a word or two. His face and voice lacked emotion, couldn’t make a bowl of cereal, couldn’t dress himself, couldn’t recall his address or birthday, couldn’t use a tv remote or basic landline. Now he can do all of that independently and more. He cooks steaks, makes his own appointments, initiates and participates in conversations, uses his cell phone and pays bills online. He smiles and laughs and is rediscovering emotions. His cognitive tests in November were “significantly impaired” and in January “Normal”. His brain tests show areas of healing despite being told it would never heal, and his kidneys and liver function are normal again. With such amazing progress in those first 40 sessions, we have decided to keep going. His recovery story is far from complete but with the amazing team at The Stram Center guiding us along the journey he is learning to live again. Thank you.
