I'm a 59 year old man with extreme nearsightedness. I've been to many many optometrists in my long life. Hughes is so helpful with everything about my glasses and contacts. It's by far the best place I've been since I was a child growing up in rural Michigan. I love how much it feels like my old hometown place because they are so friendly and helpful. And they also have a really large selection like the big places so you get the best of both worlds!

Not a client yet, but I recently called them on a Saturday morning because I swear I’d lost my contact in my eye! The lady on the phone was really nice and they told me to come right over and I had two small kids with me. They took our temps and the optician as very kind and professional throughout. She also didn’t make me feel ridiculous when she told me it wasn’t in my eye and is probably just scratched/ irritated it. I had called vision works and was on hold for their emergency line for 20 minutes before I’d searched for a locally owned place. I’ll bring my business to places like Hughes.
