I hired Schachtler Contracting to replace a 300 square roof at a condominium property in Clayton, NY. Without any knowledge Schachtler sub contracted to roof to another company that was inept and not reliable. After hiring an architect to inspect the work completed to insure it was acceptable, eight pages of deficiencies were identified. Schachtler made an attempt to correct and also failed. A significant amount of damage occurred during the during the project that was never completely repaired. A year has passed and roof leaks are routinely identified and i need to hire a different contractor to repair miscellaneous leak at they are identified.
