I’ve been here twice now, once with an appointment and now as a walk in. This time I was tended to by Yazmin who did her thing! I was told it’d be a bit of wait as there were three ladies ahead of me but she started me almost immediately on wash and rollers and made sure I was comfortable with water temperature and scrub pressure. It’s an old school dominican hair salon so don’t look for glitz and glam here, but do expect a good blowout and advice on products to lookout for to help stimulate growth and shine! Can’t wait to be back in another 3ish months ✨
When the service is good, I have to leave a review. The Lord God led me to this gem of a place when my hair needed nourishment and love. I was able to have service without a appointment which was also a blessing in addition to the exceptional service I received from Joanna! She worked carefully and gently with my 4c textured hair and made what has been a terrifying experience, a relaxing and comfortable one. I would totally recommend this establishment as the atmosphere was hospitable and lively.
Just got my hair done with Yasmin or Jasmin? Didn’t get the correct spelling… she’s an angel and a hair wizard. It’s my first time coming, but I skipped out of the salon with my hair laid and my confidence up. I was holding my breathe because it was my first time trying this place - but glad I took the chance. This is a typical no frills Dominican salon so keep that in mind, but the skills are there and that’s all I need.
