We had damage done to my office (pictured) and to my dining room due to Hurricane Debbie. JD and the team were able to come in and take over for absolutely horrible contractors assigned to us by our insurance agency. There was some confusion in the beginning, which is what happens when you come in mid-job and take over, but JD's team was forthright and professional while conducting the job and produced exemplerary results upon job completion. Great contractors to work with and it will be a pleasure to work with them in the future because I have more work for them.

If you elect to read only the opening line of this review, please know that we rate Halfmoon Handyman and owner JD as exceptional.We've dealt with contractors in the past for the construction of both a garage and a sunroom. Although the finished product in each case was good, there were many hiccups and headaches along the way. I used Halfmoon Hnadyman Services to finish our basement. From start to finish JD was great to work with. He was very fast, responsive, and communicative. If there was going to be a delay he would let me know, and he would present options and opinions as we moved through the project. He would also point out items, that I would not have noticed like the color tone of the light switch at the top of the stairs didn't match all the new ones, so we replaced it to match. The payment schedule was well organized and spaced well. I would recommend him for any job big or small.Happy customer here!Service: Remodeling
