So is she any good? Well, let me put it this way - I walked into Iron & Quill Salon the same week I reached out for an appointment, and walked out with possibly the best haircut I have ever received.

My partner and I both have curly/wavy hair which can be an absolute nightmare trying to find someone who actually knows how to cut it. Amber completely knocked it out of the park. If only my hair grew faster so that I may return sooner. The entire staff was remarkably inviting and progressive, and we felt incredibly comfortable walking in and very confident walking out.

I didn't personally receive this service, but we were there at the same time another client was getting their hair colored and it looked great as we were on our way out.

Amber was remarkably compromising and willing to get us in and adapt to our schedule. Very flexible and maintains a personal text line with you to update any sudden changes and discuss your appointment.

If you need a haircut, go here. They are professionals with gratuity included in the bill - we spent a total of about 2 hours getting our haircuts and even then we paid less here and got better service than many other salons we have tried in the past.

It can be daunting to go into a salon you've never been to before, but I figured what could go wrong when my hair is already dreadful? Well, I needn't have worried. Everyone leaving the salon looked amazing. My hair was in horrifying shape (Long, split, dry, etc.) But they weren't daunted. They suggested a mid-length cut to get rid of the grossly neglected ends/damage. And some lovely layers that go well with my long face/chin. It's gorgeous. I wish I had thought to take a pic before I went scampering about outside ?. Despite my enthusiasm to share my hair all over fresh from the salon..it still looks and feels fantastic .“

She recently moved to Upper Cut on Greenwich Ave in Goshen NY. I drove 1.5 hrs from Danbury, CT to have her cut my hair, and at lunch an hr later I got my first compliment on my do.
