“Lynne did an absolutely amazing job with my makeup for my wedding. We did a makeup trial about a month before and based off that we made some minor tweaks the day of the wedding. Lynne is super friendly and easy to work with. She made my mom feel comfortable getting her makeup done even though she was nervous, and was able to fit my mother-in-law in at the last minute when she decided she did actually want to get her makeup done as well. “EDIT!!! I’m only giving 4 stars because of my last experience. But if I had to only rate this experience with Brandy it would be one million. The owner of the salon and Brandy both reached out to me. They’re both so kind and genuine. Brandy and I talked forever about what we were going to do and she constantly checked in on me, making sure this is exactly how I wanted my hair. I will 100% be going back for all of my hair care needs.

First time customer : I’ve heard amazing things about this salon, my experience was anything but amazing. After waiting 1 hour before being acknowledged (I know I should’ve just left) Sandra finally asked if I was waiting to see someone else. I said no I’m here to see you. (She had a client prior that took longer than expected but she could’ve given me a heads up)She told me she couldn’t do the colors I wanted because ‘it wouldn’t work’ which is fine, we went another route. My first time doing a “fun” color in a long time…my hair came out a disaster. I should’ve said something at the time but I didn’t realize until I got home just how awful it was…she said I had a 1 week window to come back to get it touched up but after spending 6 hours and $200 there I can’t imagine going back. I mean, when someone hurts you typically you don’t run back for more. She was a sweet woman but if she didn’t feel like she was able to color my hair she should’ve been upfront with me. She said she’d text me a receipt which I still haven’t gotten. I also wanted to get mine and my fiancés eyebrows done but I guess that wasn’t in the cards. I hate leaving a bad review but I’m just so torn, while doing my hair she was telling me about a bad review she got a few weeks prior. Maybe she’s having a run of bad luck, I’m not sure. I genuinely don’t think my hair was worth the money spent and wish I never went to begin with. You live and you learn.“

“I went to John Paul's studio on Route 11 North in Cicero. My hairstylist is Rachael Stellmack. In my opinion, she is the best color stylist around. She's amazing at what she does. She treats her clients with respect & is warm and caring. I cannot recommend highly enough!“

I ended up with Rachel, and I wasn't disappointed. She is a Devacurl certified stylist for curly hair and so I didn't have to do the explanation and warnings beforehand as I usually do. She did a great job and was super personable. I was beyond happy with my experience and will definitely be going back to Rachel.“
