The staff and vet care is amazing I take my two dogs there never had an issue. the women that work there are very caring friendly and knowledgeable very reasonable prices to this is the central islip location I’m taking about
Central Islip location: dog in for wellness check and shots. Staff very friendly and seem knowledgeable. My dog lost 5 lbs since last checkup and though they weighed him, they gave me the wrong dose for Simparica. I had to go back the next day to get the right dose. But here’s the thing…Chewy.com prices on Simparica and Heartgard are at least 10% lower than VIP Petcare/Pet Supplies Plus. When I asked for a price match I was given a phone number to call. I waited 20 minutes on hold on that phone call to be told they would honor Chewys price on a new order, but not on the prescriptions I bought the day before. Th takeaway is this: use them for vet services if they have the best price locally. Get the meds filled elsewhere. You can always call and they will happily honor the lower price you find- but NOT AT THE CLINIC.
First time there and the staff treated me and my dogs like old friends. Very thorough.
