Needed a DMV exam to renew my DL. Called ahead to find out if i needed an appointment. Was told they do DL renewal exams as walk ins. Said the doctor was on Vacation but was scheduled to return on Wednesday (today) and would be here at 10am. I asked if it was ok to come in at 10am, and she said yes. Came in at about 10:05am, was told a few ppl are ahead of me, understandably so, and sat down to wait... It was then that we all found out that the doctor hadn't even arrived yet. When one of the ppl waiting asked if he was here, they said no and that the reason he wasn't in yet was bc it was his first day back from vacation (that's a reason to be late???). Good experience with the staff. I recommend if not for public perception alone, the doctor wipe down the equipment in front of each customer. Additionally, the glasses on the shelves could use more frequent cleanings.

I had an excellent experience at Walmart Vision Center in centerreach NY. The vision center Manager not only convinced me to come in but guided me through their process for a medical visit. I did not have an appointment on a Saturday but she assured me that Dr Wei Zhang would see me. Dr Zhang was excellent and I highly recommend him for all your vision needs and the entire staff at Walmart’s Centereach Vision Center!
