The True ventilation team and John were so professional and did the best job possible. They were thorough, fair, and honest. The quality of their work was above and beyond what I expected. Truly incredible work that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend True ventilation.

John came to clean my chimney. He inspected and found some major issues with the top of the chimney as well as the sides. He explained the wrong paint (should only use masonry STAIN he explained which is not even sold up here) was used, causing the masonry to retain water and then expand and contract as it froze and thawed. He and his assistant took off the paint at top and the cement that was wet and recemented it, waterproofed it, and put on a new crown. They also had to use acid on the inside to penetrate stage 3 creosote that had built up, then used a tool to knock it off the inside of the chimney. They also cleaned my wood stove chimney. John and True Ventilation were a perfect choice.We discovered leaking from our chimney into the second floor after a big snowmelt in January. We had a few companies check it out but ultimately chose John. What especially stood out was the thorough level of inspection he did during the consultation visit. He spent almost 90 minutes inspecting the chimney, inside and out, from basement to roof.He found things going on that other chimney repairs didn’t even bother to look for during their visits.
