Catskill Family Medicine is a practice with many long-term patients, some for over 20 years. Reviews describe providers as the best, professional, direct, thorough, and top notch. They give solid care, listen to patients, incorporate overall wellness, and are highly recommended. However, one recent experience noted a medical assistant who lacked compassion and communication during a visit, which was an exception for the practice.
Always have a pleasant experience over 20 plus year's but yesterday on 12 9 2024 we were greeted by a medical assistant that did not say a word except room 2 after this she came in and didn't say anything to us she took temp, oxygen level and blood pressure and instead of asking me to step onto the scale she just asked me my weight I'm sorry but I think you need to explain to her she needs to show a little compassion after all these years I have never had to write a review like this I'm sorry to the rest of the employees that I had to do this.
I travel almost an hour just so I can be treated by Kristen. She is a top notch provider who incorporates overall health and wellness with medicine - something I’ve found most doctors don’t do. She is thorough and actually listens to her patients. She’s always available when we need her. Highly recommend
