The Rte 52 Laundromat in Carmel, NY offers a well-maintained and convenient laundry experience. Customers can choose from a variety of machine sizes, and the dryers are praised as the best around. The hours are perfect, and the location next to a ShopRite grocery store is highly appreciated. While some reviews mention issues with cleanliness and pricing, the majority of customers express satisfaction with the overall experience. The laundromat is situated in a bustling plaza, providing ample parking and easy access to other amenities like a pharmacy, restaurants, and a movie theater.
Great service......when they happen to be there. The service counter says they open at 6am. Three times I have arrived between 630-7 to drop off laundry and nobody has been there. Once I was able to wait until after 7am to see if the hours changed, still nobody. If you've changed your hours, then post it so I don't waste my time.
Scam alert!
Machines smelled like mold. Detergent dispensers were very dirty. Machine displayed $7.00 for wash and I didn't add any extras, but was charged $10 after the transaction had fully posted to my account. I'm not going to dispute, I just won't return.
I definitely do not recommend this establishment to anyone.
