The owner connects with my very skittish, scared of all loud noises dog. She has no hesitation with going there. We are very grateful for Cedar Knolls knowing our dog is content while we are gone. She also got a bath as an added benefit.

Love the place.We had bad experiences in Wayne county. When we needed a place that also took cats back in the 90's we tried Cedar Knoll and haven't gone anywhere else since. Before going, the cat hated the car. After his stay at Cedar Knoll he was eager to go in the car.

Doug is an expert in his field, every dog we have brought him over the years has enjoyed being with him. When we take them back to stay, they are happy to be there. Doug pays close attention to our dogs and when our fox terrier was displaying homesickness after a longer stay, Doug reported the loss of appetite. He even tried a different food than we had sent and tried staying with him during feedings to encourage him to eat. Couldn't ask for more attentive and loving care.
