I found the process of becoming a new patient was simple. My insurance was accepted upon approval. What made this possible was a referral offered by my primary. I've been a patient of Empire Dermatology for about three years, no complaints. They helped me in diagnosis and treatment to best manage my needs.

My experience in 2024 was fine… it’s two years ago at this point so I’m not sure how it is currently. One star removed because one person the secretary team seemed power hungry and was seemingly disrespectful with how they spoke to me, but once I was in the exam room my practitioner was so so so kind, thorough, educated me along the exam, was enthusiastic about my questions, and met me at my education level. I have a four year nursing degree and 15 years clinical experience… but derm is not my specialty and I do not presume to know enough. I have never had any issues going here. Great place! People are very nice!
