I took the Spirited trail ride with a friend and it was awesome! I was assigned a mare named Fay who was a big solid steady ride. I felt so safe on her and she knew her job very well and seemed to enjoy it. There were lots of fun sections with creek crossings and short canters up steep hills. The woods we rode in were beautiful. We had Dan as our guide and he was knowledgeable and friendly and took his time to make sure we had a good experience. The horses were all well taken care of, and there were a lot of happy lesson students around at the evening hour when we rode. There were also some friendly cats. Incredible experience. Went for our friend's birthday for a private scenic trail ride. The three of us had zero experience. We rode Tater, Gringo, and Luna. They were very accommodating for a disability. Our trail guides were Zoe and Nyah. They were not only kind and friendly but very informative by answering all questions and putting all us beginners at ease. Also the scenery was beautiful through woods, creeks, and along pasture. It was a hot day, but the ride through the woods was not too hot. Bonus there were barn cats to pet named King Dong and Hansel.
Nervous beginner who went on the bachelorette ride with very experienced riders and horse owners. I had a blast and the guides - Alyssa and Zoey - made me feel comfortable and explained everything perfectly. It was a perfect route through the woods, up some hills and over creeks. I left wanting to ride again!
