Wonderful time !! I really didn’t know what to expect, I thought it would be a casual ride. I sure was wrong!! Beautiful trails with wonderful guides!! A must do for even a novice like myself, and fun for my son who has been out riding at a friends a few times. The staff was great at explaining the riding experience and put the four of us with nicely matched horses. I would love to do this again for sure!!!

My daughter & I had an amazing horse ride with Taylor & Jess as our guides. These ladies were fun, friendly & thorough with safety & information to make our ride most enjoyable on these incredible moving couch potatoes;)-(just the way us beginners like it:) The trail, scenery & special memory created is imprinted in my heart. (My second ride here)…loved it!!

This is a wonderful place! It was easy to reserve a ride time and the price was very reasonable. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging in guiding us during the ride. Our guide, Alyssa, took great pictures to capture the experience and made us feel comfortable along the trail. Also, the scenery is beautiful!

Painted Bar Stables is a community-oriented riding facility offering year-round guided trail rides to the general public as well as lessons, leasing, boarding and educational opportunities. Specializing in trail riding and real world riding lessons the stable has reliable horses to guarantee a safe, secure horseback adventure for riders of all ages and abilities. Our experienced horses carry riders through the rolling landscape of the Finger Lakes Region on beautiful trails ranging from simple to rugged terrain. Each ride is carefully crafted by matchmaking horse and rider and selecting of the perfect trail to give each person the best experience possible. We work to keep our rides small and intimate, but can accommodate large groups
