They are very kind people who guide the student, giving their points of view and observations on any shortcomings we may have. They are objective and clear in all the explanations of the tests. I am infinitely grateful for the entire course. I had a lot of fun, it was spectacular.“

“Thank you, Grant and Suffolk Auto School! My son has to schedule a road test promptly. Suffolk Auto gave him a last minute lesson with Grant, who was very patient and helpful. Throughout the week, Grant continued to check in and give last minute tips- and today he passed. I can't remember the last time such customers serve and attention was provided on any industry. It really paid off. I recommend Grant and Suffolk Auto to all new drivers!“

30 Vernon Valley Rd, East Northport“Took lessons with them and passed the road test but they have scheduling problems. They had to take me to the road test under a second instructor because my teacher was already booked for a lesson on my road test day. Also the car that I took my road test in the brakes sounded so bad I could almost guarantee it needed new calipers / rotors and it also had stiff power steering.
Also all of my lessons were on local roads only once did I go on a more than 2 lane road barring turning lanes and it was for a second at that, and keep in mind I took like 13 lessons
They said I would need a drivers license before teaching the expressway / parkway.
Make sure you get a package because they schedule and take you to your road test.“

680 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station“My son took the 5 hour course in the beginning of September and took lessons with Robert Baker after. I have to say- what a wonderful experience. This school is so accommodating!!! They did everything they could to help my son feel comfortable. My son was most comfortable with Robert and they were able to work around my son's school schedule and literally bent over backwards for him. I could not be happier. He passed his road test!!! They make you feel like family and I am so happy that we were able to work with them. Lynn is amazing and a true asset to the company and will literally do anything she can to help Thank you Lynn!!!!!! ! The young ladies in the office are friendly and when they say they will call you back- they call you back! And Robert Baker!!!! He is truly one of a kind!!!! Thank you to all!!!!“
“I started taking classes with Donna in April 2024. I had no prior driving experience, except for a few lessons I'd taken with another school that's gone out of business since then. I had a few choices of different schools, but Techniques Made Easy seems to have the best pricing for lesson packages, rather than paying for individual lessons. Once the lessons began, Donna helped me build confidence and develop my basic driving skills. Over time, she then helped me fine tune what needed some more work, like parallel parking and 3 point turns. Then, she helped me get a grip on other things that made me nervous, like driving on main roads and changing lanes. She's very professional and very personable at the same time, easy to talk to. She pays close attention to areas a student might need to improve in, but is very patient and offers guidance on how to correct them. She'll teach you so many essential things, like proper seat and steering wheel and mirror positioning, and for me a really big one was learning how to use hand over hand technique for better control of steering. I'm so grateful that I found the right instructor to show me the way. I had really bad anxiety about driving when the lessons started over a year ago, but continued booking lessons to gain more experience and build muscle memory. As we continued driving together, I kept making more and more progress. A lot of things she taught me involved steps, and she was consistent in making sure I knew all the steps and which order to do them. Through my entire learning journey Donna was very encouraging, and any questions I had for her as a potentially new driver, she always gave her honest opinion. Fast forward to May of this year, I finally felt more prepared and comfortable with my driving and told her I was ready for the road test. There were a few breaks in our weekly lessons last year due to financial stress, which is why lessons went on for over a year. If I could've afforded more frequent classes, I think I would've taken my road test a lot sooner. But in any case, better late than never. And what do you know...I passed on my first try! I hear a lot of people don't pass on the first attempt, so let that be a testament to the fact that Donna is a fantastic instructor and will truly prepare you to be a smart and cautious driver.“

“St. Anthony's driving teachers educate students on 1. how to drive, 2. NYS road rules, 3. being aware of their surroundings, and 4. dealing with distractions (such as cellphones and the other kids in the car who are also taking the course).Classes are given weekly over a 4 month period on the same day each week. They consist of an hour lecture and an hour and a half of shared driving. The teacher sits in the passenger seat and four students rotate between sitting in the back and taking their turn in the driver's seat. What is taught MUST be studied and practiced at home before the next class, which requires the presence and guidance of a licenced adult. The teacher is a teacher, not a magician, and without reading the manual and spending time behind the wheel, your teen won't gain the confidence they'll need, placing themselves and other's at risk.St. Anthony's cost for group driving lessons is exactly average for Long Island. If you prefer private instruction, there are places listed online (at a much higher fee). You will still need to practice with your son/daughter at home, and they will still need to study the driving manual and memorize NYS driving rules, not just for the test, but literally for their lives.4 Stars Because: If you attend this course but do not go to this school, you will generally find yourself treated by the other kids as if you do not exist.Recommendation: Absolutely worth it for what it teaches if you attend this high school or if you are coming in from the outside and are confident enough not to let cliques bother you.“

“I had a great experience at Precision Driving School. Big thanks to Jimmy. Strongly suggest to anyone going for their CDL to request Jimmy. He is the definition of a trucking industry veteran, and he cares a lot about his students. He has a very adaptive teaching style and provides context and clarity when it comes to driving commercial vehicles. You get a quality learning experience with him. If you don't understand certain aspects in lessons, he will break it down for you to help you comprehend what is expected not only on the road test, but in real world situations too. I passed my Class A road test on the first try thanks to Jimmy.
Also, the office staff has been incredibly accommodating and responsive. They helped me schedule lessons convenient for me which made my learning experience great.
I strongly recommend Precision Driving School to anyone serious about getting their CDL.
Thank you Precision Driving School. Thank you, Jimmy!“
