“I highly recommend BCMA. It's a safe and welcoming environment that will help your reach your goals. The academy's sucess starts at the top. Tamdan is an excellent teacher with a good sense of humor. He's a good balance between serious and fun.Tamdan is excellent with kids. He's tough on his competitors (and works as hard as they do). For hobbyists young and old, he creates space for them to grow and develop. If you tell Tamdan your goal he'll meet you half way. Also, Tamdan's upper belts David, Brad, and Dom are also very good. They look out for you on the mats and invest in you.To any one reading this that may be nervous about giving it a try, please don't be. Great people, great vibe, great value.“

“A very good martial arts school! I and my child went here for almost a year. The sensei teaches very well and the advanced students treat you with respect and understanding! The jujitsu tecnics are effective, but it requires a lot moreb practice to master them. Unfortunately, I moved and couldn't continue practicing. I recommend this place.

“No way to convey the tremendously positive impact this school had on my son's life. He trained under Master Ochiai (who still teaches most all classes) for 5 years, in the late 1990's. He developed self-discipline, confidence and a deep sense of importance in having respect for himself and in his interactions with others. These qualities have helped to carry him to a successful career and a positive outlook. Master Ochiai is a legend, but his teachings are priceless!“

“If you need to get your kids out of the house for a little bit, and it’s too cold to go to the park, contact Cheryl the owner and schedule a private bounce time. It’s affordable and you have the place to yourself. 2 kid minimum.“
