Both my daughter and I have been to other braiders in the area that don't listen and apply so much gel it suffocates your scalp. I’m a single Mom of 2 who hadn’t stepped into a salon for over 10yrs until I was given this address to pick up an item I was purchasing from Marketplace.
I had no idea it was a hair salon and ended up in a conversation with a WONDERFUL woman who worked there “LISA” that I’d made the purchase from.
I explained some of the things overcome to be where I am today and we spoke a bit on that, I also told her that although both my children have had many haircuts over the years I hadn’t had so much as a cheap trim.

I said I knew I’d NEVER be able to afford it but showed her pictures I’d been collecting over literal years in my phone of the haircut and highlights I’d been really wanting to do before I got too old to do it.
She told me the color I was looking for was going to be EXTREMELY difficult as well as like I said usually it’s very expensive.

BUT would you believe this AMAZING WOMAN made me an appointment and even though she worked with me for over 6 hours, (my hair came out PERFECT) she kept her word and charged me only $100 for the whole thing!
I couldn’t have felt more like a PRINCESS that day!
