The doctors and entire staff at SightMD Bethpage are professional, knowledgeable, and very nice. I've been going here for many years. I recently had my first cataract surgery. Everything was clearly explained and the procedure went well. Occasionally you need to wait a little while before seeing the doctor. But this is because they take the time with each patient to explain & properly perform the procedures.
My visit to SightMD was a consult for a recent cataract surgery. I had dreaded it only because I accompanied my wife there on a recent visit for her and it took awhile. But I guess that’s what occurs when you go to the best. After being called to be seen the process went very quickly. Dr. Garelick took his time to explain my condition and I appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. He’s a class act. My visit was far better than I could have imagined.
Today, 2/12/2025 I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Laurence Rubin, MD, my eye care doctor for more years than I can remember. Dr. Rubin is very caring, thorough without being over-the-top, so easy to talk to & has a great memory of my other medical concerns. He never hesitates to answer my questions or to explain things to me. I feel assured I am in the best of care. I always highly recommend Dr. Rubin to friends, family & my Wantagh momma's group members.
