Very caring staff!!!!. The shelter is clean . They helped my family so much.My words can't say enough or explain my gratitude and love for these people and their programs because of them my family has had a real chance at a good life. Thank. You all and GOD bless you all

A friend works here, and I had the unfortunate experience of being a client many years ago. As far as "family shelters" go on Long Island, I would call it adequate. However, aside from the numerous health and safety violations, there are drugs - I'm talking about crack and heroin - being both sold and used on the property, as well as alcohol. Not the safest environment for children.

Lived there with my daughter and her dad for awhile. This place really helps homeless families get back on their feet while having you live in what seems like your own apartment for comfortability. But the offer so much to do to keep you busy yet have fun with the kids and to help move you and your family forward.
