Ever since I found Kim & Marcus a few years ago, I couldn't imagine ever letting anyone else near my hair! Kim just gets my hair and has always given me an absolutely perfect cut or style, and I am always happy to give her creative control. Can't wait to be back in the chair now that they have reopened!

•*+ REVIEW AS OF 11/14/20 +*• Having my hair done today with Marcus in their new studio was professional and great in every way! I called to ask where the room was, and was then told to come in. Their studio may be slightly small, but there’s still plenty of room for people to be in without feeling cramped or feel like you’re going to bump into someone. The parking lot is big enough, but can be filled quickly, so luckily I arrived with time to spare in case there was that “issue”. There is parking down the street and around the corner, if there is an issue. Now let’s talk about the appointment!!! My appointment with Marcus was to get my hair dyed to be a auburn/red hair color from faded blonde highlights he did when salons were first open again from the pandemic. He did a amazing job and the color came out perfectly!!! Him and his wife are a great team and make you feel welcome and at home with no issues! I love them and their salon, they’re the best!!! •*+ REVIEW AS OF 6/27/20 +*• I went in today for my 2nd hair salon appointment with Marcus, since the reopening of the salons from them being closed from the Coronavirus pandemic. What I had done today was a full head of blonde highlights and a cut. I wanted my hair to be more blonde as well, and with that information, Marcus did his magic! He is very knowledgeable when it comes to dying and cutting, and is very professional like I stated in my previous review! Marcus is a focused hair stylist and colorist and makes sure he takes his time. There was one other client that came in, and he balanced his time with the both of us very well! I did not feel rushed, or ignored! I was content and comfortable while listening to their music and playing with my phone, and it wasn’t for long. Marcus is gentle when washing hair, and to the best it could be (my hair does get knotty) he was gentle brushing my hair. My scalp is tender, so for me to say that, is a great thing to mention! I STILL recommend this hair salon, 10/10! Clean, sanitized, detailed, efficient, and professional! •*+ 8 MONTH AGO REVIEW BELOW +*• The salon itself is modern with a cozy and "hipster" style. It is fairly small, but I loved my experience as it wasnt noisy like other salons, and it gives it a more personal connection when getting your hair done! I went in with a special offer I had from the bellmore festival, and now found my new hair salon! I am a very dedicated person to a hair stylist, but sadly had to move on from my previous stylist. I went in this past weekend to just get my hair cut as it needed it badly, and was scheduled to get it cut by Marcus! Let me tell you, Marcus is a delightful, talented, very detailed, and professional hairstylist! I have a scar on the back of my neck from a surgery I had, and I was surprised I didnt see him make a face, question about it, or keep touching the area with curiosity. I dont mind telling my story, but I dont like it when people just dont ask and rather just make it a weird situation. ANYWAY!!! He was very detailed when cutting my hair to perfection, making sure it was all in the same length and all, and spent a good amount if time just blow drying my hair!! I loved every minute of it!! I cant wait to come back for Marcus to color my hair!! I absolutely reccomend this salon!
