Moved to Merrick 22 years ago. Had trouble for the first few years trying to find a barber I was happy with, but once I found Elegant I was done looking. I’ve been a regular customer for many years now. I’ve been going to Stan all these years, but there are several other barbers on staff, so there’s never a long wait. I always walk in to a friendly greeting and walk out with a great haircut. Elegant is a great barbershop; I highly recommend it.

Stan is my go-to barber in Bellmore. His staff is very friendly and efficient. I rarely ever have to wait too long for a cut. Stan’s prices are very reasonable for the area and he always makes sure I’m happy with the result. He offers to make adjustments the same day or next day if I’m not satisfied with how my haircut looks after a wash. He’s a class act and a really nice guy. I highly recommend!Service: Haircut

Had a really great experience at Elegant Barber Shop. Went here with my 12 year old son. As soon as we walked in we were kindly greeted by Stan. We waited only a few moments and before I knew it my son was getting a cut in Stan's chair. Susan freed up a few minutes later, and my cut begin. I have rather short hair, it's both buzzed and cut, Susan did a great job. My son has much longer hair and it needed some control. Stan was polite and kind, always asking what to do to make sure we were pleased. Great cut, quick, polite and comfortable place. See you in a few weeks team.Services: Kids' cuts
