DO NOT stop here for gas. As you'll note, a common theme across a number of reviews of this Bedford (NY) Shell gas station and service center is how crazy much it (the person behind it) charges for gas: NEARLY DOUBLE THE COST of surrounding-area stations. Like others who've left reviews, I was traveling north on 684 when my gaslight went on. Stopped here. Got out. Stretched my legs. Inserted my credit card. And then noticed that regular unleaded was nearly $7 per gallon. Pumped two gallons. Put the nozzle back. And stopped near Waterbury CT to fill up the tank.

Do not stop here to get gas....unless you like being charged insanely ridiculous amounts of money! Literally go anywhere else but here. They charge the highest gas prices I have ever seen, and I drive up and down the east coast bi-monthly. This is by far the most per gallon anywhere ever. You would have to be crazy to get gas here.

Apparently this is not news, but this station is 1. three miles from the exit where it is advertised, 2. only full service, and 3. cost me $81 to full up my tank (plus a tip to attendant). Their prices were about $2 above average NY state prices.
