Aldo's Barber Shop in Bedford Hills, NY comes highly recommended for those seeking a classic, old-school barber experience. Aldo, the owner, is a beloved figure in the community, having started the local soccer program and even having a soccer field named in his honor. His barber shop, established in 1958, is adorned with autographed pictures of the many celebrities and their children he has served over the years. Aldo is not only known for his excellent barber skills, but also for his extensive knowledge about Bedford. Aldo's Barber Shop is the first choice for many in the community, with the owner being described as the best barber in Westchester County.
First time visiting this shop only because the sign said “walk ins only” I can get a haircut without advance scheduling. Aside from that. This man is 86 years old and gives a better haircut than anyone else out there. Been cutting hair since the beginning of time. And still remains friendly and welcoming. Shop is filled with history. Olds school vibes and if you’re lucky enough to come in on a busy day….the conversations alone make it worth the wait. Additionally, his price is set pretty low. He is a craftsman. You can pay more than the minimum and feel good about it.
Aldo is amazing! My son just got a haircut and is raving that Aldo is the GOAT- Greatest of all time! He is so nice and takes his time with close attention to detail. He wants every customer to be happy and he is so nice.
The single best haircut I have had in the last 40+ years. Even though I have very little hair, Aldo's attention to detail was like watching a master craftsman at work. His stories about his life and family and soccer only enriched the experience. I will be coming here to see Aldo until the day he retires--which he says he has no intention of doing!
