Baldwin Midwifery Services is highly recommended for its exceptional care and commitment to its clients. The midwives are described as authentic, caring, and believing in the body's natural ability to heal and thrive during pregnancy and childbirth. They provide soulful, intuitive, and feminine wisdom to support mothers-to-be, in contrast to the more medicalized approach of traditional OB-GYNs. While their holistic approach may not suit everyone, those who value this type of care are likely to be forever grateful for the services offered by Baldwin Midwifery Services.
I think what you did was very brave and am sending you good thoughts and energy. In my state I was able get a religious exemption and now I know a good amount of people who are regretting giving in to social pressure .
The two reviews that you see below my own are laughable at best. "Run" from someone who told you to drink raspberry leaf tea??? The horror of a holistic practitioner that doesn't believe in the fiction of germ theory? Who are these clowns? Jeanette is an authentic midwife and as such she believes in the body's innate ability to self heal, to survive... to THRIVE. If you're brainwashed by allopathic medicine don't bother seeing her- she's not a psychiatrist nor does she practice exorcisms. That said, you need to grow up if you want to birth and raise children. When you're ready for Motherhood and feel that you would benefit from soulful, intuitive, feminine wisdom- call Jeanette.Otherwise, go see that pervert that calls himself an OBGYN and will convince you that your pregnancy is a medical emergency rather than the absolute divine experience that your female body was created for.
Jeanette is a wise and caring midwife. Her advice is outstanding and her calm but direct nature was exactly what I needed for our first homebirth. I am forever grateful for her care. The birth of my son, with Jeanette's assistance, was the best experience of my life.
