I had a bridesmaid dress that a tailor from another shop did not do a good job with and it was still too big. I realized how much of an issue it was the day before the wedding and was panicking because I only had a few hours to get it fixed before I had to leave town. I called another tailor and they pretty much laughed at me when I said I only had a few hours and said they couldn't help me, but then I called VIP and they told me no problem, come right in and they will help! I got there at noon and they were able to get it done for me by 4pm! And it the work was perfect!!! Very friendly and reasonably priced as well. I emailed for a quote and I got back a message saying to just come in. I did, two dresses too big in the bust (chest) and a cloak that needed hemming. “Simple” stuff, and I thought they charged so much. Upon further explanation, it did make a bit more sense.Everything was ready before the promised due date. The sewing work/sizing were precise, like the dresses hadn’t even come to me too big to begin with.I admit I did balk at the price at first, but these people truly did their best to go above and beyond to make it right and exceeded my expectations, which I greatly appreciate.I would recommend. Perfect hours and location for me.

Helen did a great job with the alterations to my mother-of-the-groom gown! I wasn’t sure of the length I wanted and Helen pinned the gown 3 times at 3 different lengths! She patiently took photos to send to my daughter so we could get her opinion. The alterations were done quickly and were just what I asked for. The sheer sleeves were shortened and the gown hemmed. The price was more than reasonable and the customer service was excellent!Service: Alterations
