I'm so fortunate to have found this dance studio! The teachers are great (friendly, professional, and talented) and the atmosphere is wonderful (warm, welcoming, and fun). As well as the excellent dance instruction and practice I get at each lesson, I'm also making good friends!
Svetlana is a wonderful teacher! My fiancé and I wanted a choreographed dance for our first wedding dance and Svetlana patiently taught us in a very short time period. Her teaching method really helped simplify the choreography and helped us to perform beautifully at our wedding, impressing everyone. We will be back to take more dance classes with Svetlana!
I have been taking private lessons from Svetlana (my instructor at the New York Dance Center) for over 15 years. She is remarkably patient and an excellent teacher. As a result of Svetlana's efforts, I have now become comfortable dancing at socials, weddings and other events. Ballroom dancing has enriched my life. Coincidentally, my weekly lessons are quite aerobic and great exercise.
