Our neighbor used Hoy plumbing in an emergency, and had nothing but good things to say about them. We figured in this case we would use them as well. I had a drain that started backing up slowly in my bathroom which did not respond to Drano alone. When they came, they told me what they discovered which was not a simple fix, but was not a difficult one either. Being as thorough as they were, they also went to check my lines to make sure that everything emptied out properly into the main sewer line, only to discover that I actually had two main lines. Joe, the owner, came over and inspected as well, and told me this was not uncommon especially when you have a septic tank conversion which may have happened many years ago. he went on to explain to me the history of the houses in the area, the plumbing involved with them, and the changes that have happened over the years based on the town inspectors. Needless to say I learned a lot about my house, as well as some of the history of why things function the way they do in my house. He obviously has a good amount of experience with older houses, and I'll be using them again when something else comes up.
