NYOH in Amsterdam is where I chose to have my cancer treated. I have never seen such a caring and efficient staff. From the office secretaries, to the chemotherapy department, and the nurses, their expertise and friendly care was exceptional. Dr. De Jesus was my Radiation Oncologist during my bout with tongue cancer. As if the cancer wasn't bad enough along with needing radiation to the mouth, the fear and anxiety of the unknow was just as worrisome. Dr. De Jesus immediately took the fear and anxiety away by spending the time explaining exactly what I was about to go through and what to expect. Recently I had a medical scare. The staff, nurses and doctors and assistants were very quick to get me in. They were very caring and made me feel at ease. They are all very knowledgeable and caring. They always treat me with respect. Thank you for all you do.??
Even though cancer is not a good thing, this is a great place to get it treated. The entire staff(doctors, nurses, caregivers, office workers and others) are caring, supportive, compassionate and committed to you.
