“10/10 recommend this salon for a deep tissue massage! I have seen Zena about 4 times now and every time is amazing. I deal with chronic shoulder and back pain and Zena does a detailed job working on all of the extremely deep knots I have; She just not just skip over the difficult ones. Chronic pain is not only physically debilitating, but mentally as well — and Zena is empathetic and legitimizes my pain which always leaves me feeling more level headed.It was difficult for me to find someone who could go as deep as I needed to reach my pain points, and Zena does just that (which feels like a medical massage). That being said, I wish I could run it through my insurance since I go to her as if she’s a doctor lol.Yes, you are mandated to wear a mask, however she is very kind about it and wearing one is truly no big deal. You don’t even notice it’s on. If anything, it makes you feel more comforted (like a face hug lol).In addition, the front desk staff are personable and friendly — so it’s always a wonderful experience from start to end. I am really appreciative for getting to work with someone who really validates how physically and emotionally taxing it can be to live in pain.“
