I'm surprised this hotel isn't a 4 star property. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but the new main lobby is very nice. The convention center is great and the indoor and outdoor pool combination makes the experience lovely. The rooms were recently renovated, but there was cleanliness issues with the bed. The bathroom looked new, but had paint coming off the shower, the sink clogging, and the light wasn't turning on. The TV light also wasn't turning on and the curtains were stuck. The bathroom was also very cramped. Good, modern hotel experience in Buffalo, not the best but also way ahead of other hotels, especially in Downtown.

I've often stayed at this hotel when crossing the border to shop—great value, free parking, and close enough to all shopping locations. Breakfast is not worth what they charge, though. Stay here, but just have breakfast somewhere else.

This hotel used to be the place to stay when coming to the area. This is no longer the case. One person at front desk at check in time, also responsible for answering the phone and leaving you on hold forever. We checked in, had 2 rooms. We were given the keys, my 73 year old mom and 72 year old aunt walked all the way to their room only to find that housekeeping was still in their room, forcing them to do the walk back down to the lobby. It was rectified soon after, and they were personally helped to their new room.
