Ben Aldridge's International Black Belt Studio, located in Alden for 25 years, offers a variety of martial arts classes including Kenpo Karate, Progressive Arnis, and Iaido. With programs for children aged 5 and up, as well as teens and adults, it provides a welcoming environment for all. We have been at Sensei Ben's studio for a month now and it's going great. Everyone at the school is very nice and helpful and my son is learning a lot.
So beyond happy that we decided to bring our daughter to learn Kenpo from Sensei Ben and his assistant Sensei’s. From day 1 he has been nothing but amazing towards/with her, very upfront with us about why/what/when and all of the sensei’s have been so very patient with all of the students. Our daughter absolutely LOVES going to class! Would HIGHLY recommend!!!
I recently toured this studio with my five year old. The owner gave a FREE PRIVATE session (I think they actually give two)! He answered all of my questions thoroughly. The building was very clean. Also, the cool thing is is you can attend multiple sessions per week, or just a couple. Everything happens at the studio so there is no traveling and running around. This is a win for busy families! You can tell the owner is really dedicated to his craft and takes it seriously.
I will definitely be revisiting this when my son is a little older! I want him to gain a little more focus and maturity first.
